Escape to Hinoba-an

Source: Wikipedia

Hinoba-an is a 1st class municipality in the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. It is the southernmost town of the province. It is bounded on the north by Sipalay City and Candoni; on the south by Basay, Negros Oriental; on the east by the town of Ilog; and on the west by the Sulu Sea. (source: Wikipedia)

The beautiful and peaceful town of Hinoba-an is strategically located on the Southern most tip of Negros Occidental.   The beaches are stretched within the eleven barangays.   The silky white sand and black pebbles are the pride of the twelve barangays.   The mountain ranges are lushed with verdant green trees.   All around are the music of the swaying coconut palms with its sugar sweet coco water and meat. Unlike the renowned white sand of Boracay, Hinoba-an is truly far different from it. But Hinoba-an beaches will never fail you to offer their virgin beaches. The sand may not be white but its golden sand together with the clear water of the beach will amaze you. Yes! I’m also amazed! I’ve been there summer of 2011 with family, of course. Hinoba-an according to my parents is really near to Sipalay, click this link to know more about Sipalay. (https://beachandeverythingnice.wordpress.com/2012/08/15/sipalay-negros-occidental/)

So here are the pictures..

All set!

On the way to Hinoba-an..
Look at our nails 😉

OKAY! So travel time is about 3 1/2 to 4 hours to Hinoba-an proper.

And another 20 minutes for a rocky drive to Nabulao Bay Beach Resort.

Nabulao Bay Beach Resort

Nabulao Bay Beach Resort offers beach activities for their guests. They offer jetski/speedboat ride but in our case we have our own. Some guests also bring their ATV ride. Really fun! We tried one of their activity which is the Banana boat or according to Tita Julie and kids it is pronounced in Japanese as “Banana Bowto” .

“Banana Bowto”
If you have your own jetski/speedboat you can use it for lesser expense, just like what we did.hehe

Beach, each!

If you want to relax and go away from the crowd, opt to Hinoba-an rather than Sipalay. The ambiance is much relaxing for there are lesser establishments and trees are everywhere. But if you want a Boracay-like experience, then visit Sipalay.
